The route works its way along the west coast to Applecross and then northwards towards the&nbsp;towns of Torridon and Ullapool. From there, you&#8217;ll embark on a drive to some of the most northerly coastal points of mainland Scotland, including Caithness. In fact you could even cycle or walk the route.  If driving allow yourself the best part of a week and you are advised to book your accommodation in advance particularly during the summer season.
